Leading the curriculum change from the front.

Belize’s move to competency-based education succeeds or fails in the hands of the people who lead schools. This pilot course, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education and stakeholders, prepares principals, department heads and tertiary leaders to carry it through.

It is facilitated by three of our most outstanding educators, Drs. Brown, Godfrey and Vairez. Ms. Paz of the Ministry’s Curriculum Unit, Ms. Howell of the Teacher Learning Institute, and Mr. Cano and Mr. Sho, the Stann Creek and Toledo District Education Managers, and their teams are integral to the course’s development and delivery.

The first cohort runs in the 2026–27 academic year. Register your interest and we will be in touch as dates are confirmed.
